my favorite place

There is a nearby park that we absolutely love.  We enjoy it so much, that when my sister was visiting in winter, we took her there, despite that it was freezing cold:

(taken by my sister Katy, November 2011)

The park is 60-acres big and includes beach, forest, fields and flower gardens so B's favorite thing to do is "explore."   B and L wander and climb trees and examine plants and D & I follow behind, holding hands and talking.

  2. Wow girly. What an incredible post. Did Katy take all of these pictures? or just the first two? Is that a BLUE RODY? The joy that is captured in these pictures is incredible. How about I just drop out of school and stay with you all FOREVER! If only... but it's incredibly tempting. I miss you all a lot.
    Thanks for sharing the joy.

    1. Yep, it's blue Rody. Mom of course found him and gave him to B a Christmas or two ago. Look at the last picture (it's a sand dune but you can only see a portion of it.) Well, L rode Rody down the whole dune. Little cowgirl. It was very entertaining.
