Tyson, Sam, Mike, Adam, D, Tyler
On Friday we took a road trip with a bunch of friends to Nauvoo (5 hours south of Chicago.)
Nauvoo has a re-created pioneer village where you can participate in making bread, soap, ropes, bricks , horseshoes, wagons, etc.

After we put the kids to bed, we stayed up all night playing games.  We are really going to miss our friends!  Only 3 weeks until we say goodbye to graduate school and all that entails.

  1. Little man totally looks like a combo of Buddy and Coco on day 135.

    1. Agreed. And he's not doing it in the picture but he totally purses his lips and furrows his brows when he's fiercely determined to defy you like I remember oh-so-clearly both little boys doing.

  3. That is enough breakfast for a small village! Yum! Sausage is one of the best breakfast foods.
What a fun weekend with friends! I'm sure you'll make friends in your new land. And you'll probably be so close because you'll only have each other for all the holidays.

    1. That's exactly what I thought too ("How am I going to eat all of this?") B ate all the sausage by himself and convinced D to make more...
