| my cute Dad adoring my cute nephew |
I aspired to be in town for my nephew's birth. Unfortunately, the timing of a baby's arrival is hard to predict and cheap flights must be bought months in advance. So, I scored the flight and hoped for the best. The day of my flight arrived, while I was boarding my flight I got a text that my sister was in labor and checking into the hospital. When I arrived that evening, my dad picked me up from the airport, we rushed straight to the hospital, and were present for my nephew's birth 2 hours later.
The send off for the butterflies is great. It is cool you made it in time for little C.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Can't wait to see some of Ginny's baby.
ReplyDeletethank you lovely EC!
DeleteThe Easter baskets look like they were fun to make! That's great that you got to be there when your nephew was born!
ReplyDeletethey were REALLY fun. D says it should be an Easter tradition. L's we cut open like an egg. B's we left sealed and put the toys/candy through a hole in the top. It was incredibly fun for him to rip it open and for the contents to go flying everywhere as he tore it apart.
DeleteWhy do I always do that? I meant Genny!
ReplyDeleteoh don't worry! It's the "G" it throws a lot of people off.
